Our 'Teen Special' program
|
At 15 or 16 years old, you're certainly not too old to experience the adventure that is Le Ranch Massawippi. The Teen program is specially designed for boys and girls of that age group who want to discover the magic of group life and summer camps.
The Teens participate in the Ranch activities such as horse-back riding, canoeing, wall climbing, tennis playing, rafting and adventure trails to name but a few. Also, they have the privilege of participating in many off-camp activities. Amongst others are the Amazoo Water Park, golfing and canoe-camping. With the Teen program you will get an energetic environment and will be surrounded by campers who are hooked on the Ranch. An unforgettable experience!

Our 'Voltige' Camp |
The voltige can be compared with one activite of slide by the fact that the voltigeur must balance on unstable supports and moving; the horse. The animal in the center of the activity, and that which one must respect more, is held in longe (on a circle) by the longeur. It is the longeur who directs and controls the animal.
This discipline could even be the base of riding because it brings a very good plate to horse and it teaches with no matter whom to know one of the best friend of the man without needing to worry about the direction or speed.

Arrival time at camp

The arrival at camp is between 2pm and 3pm.
|

Departure from camp
|
|
At the end of each stay, special activities are planned in a festive atmosphere. Parents and friends are invited to join in.
Departure time from camp for a stay ending with a fair is 11am. Campers inscribed in a stay ending with a horse contest are invited to stay and watch all categories of the contest which usually end around 3pm. However, they are free to leave as soon as they have participated.

Inter-camp days are for children want to arrive early because of transportation difficulties, or whom are registered to 2 consecutive stays and must remain at camp between those stays for various reasons.
