Horseback riding is our main activity

Le Ranch Massawippi has at its disposal 50 magnificent horses for English saddle horse-back riding.

Also, recent and considerable equestrian installations are available to help make your stay with us even more enjoyable.

 Our installations...

Superb newly built and well-arranged stables.

Two spacious indoor arenas to allow our young riders to take full advantage of their favorite passion even when Mother Nature refuses.

8 outdoor rings on a sand base.

Many kilometers of equestrian trails swirling through the forest and meadows.

Besides learning equestrian techniques and the care of horses, up to 2 equestrian courses per day are offered to our Rancheros and Racheras depending on the chosen option.

Des cours de techniques équines sont également dispensés aux campeuses et campeurs.
Horse care technique courses are also given to our campers.

A team of qualified instructors give courses which are adapted to the specific skill level of the student, be it: beginner, intermediary or advanced (obstacles). The maximum number of students per skill level is 3 per instructor for children between the ages of 6 and 10. For other age groups, a maximum of 4 to 5 students per instructor assures a secure environment and a constant progression.

Horse-back riding, equestrian games, trick riding, carrousels and equestrian contests are also on tap…

All this to fill your stay and make it a memorable one!

 Moreover...

Long pants, boots with heels and an equestrian helmet are mandatory. The boots and helmet can be provided by the camp.

A certificate and a badge are decreed to each student at the end of their stay to attest the equestrian level they have reached.

Ranch Massawippi is certified by the Fédération Équestre du Québec and meets all of its standards in terms of installations and security. We also take part in the Équi-Qualité program.

Our large indoor arenas are very much appreciated in case of bad weather.
